Hey Guys!
I hope you are having a good day! Today was a no sew day. Instead I did some online shopping for the Pile O’ Fabrics Skill Block of the Month. I have finally decided on this fabric…it is called Chicopee by Denyse Schmidt. I looked it up after reading Pile O’ Fabric’s post. When she mentioned the print, I looked it up and instantly fell in love. I think she is using this as the back but I plan to use the prints and solids in the back and in the front. I purchased at West Wood Acres. You should head on over there….I think she has great prices!
I got some coordinating solids also…I think I will get more as I go along. I will share the solids I got once they come in the mail. Well that’s enough of that …Let me tell you about the contest.
I saw this picture on Facebook on Free Spirit’s Facebook page… If you click on the picture you will be sent to their Facebook page.
This was the description:
Tula says she loves her local quilt shop. How about you?
Join in the fun. Visit your favorite independent quilt or fabric shop, take a photo inside the shop, and upload the photo to the contest page at Facebook.com/quiltshopday with a caption saying why YOU love your local, independent quilt or fabric shop. Fans will vote for their favorite picture!
You could win a gift certificate to your favorite quilt shop or a Brother Sewing Machine. Deadline is 11:59 pm January 24, 2013.

Well… how many of you are willing to take the challenge? I am heading over to my local quilt shop, Intown Quilters tomorrow. I plan on taking pictures and letting those sweet ladies know about this website …if they don’t already! I will be back tomorrow to show you the picture, until then Sew Pretty!
