I thought I would give you all an update on the current quilt I am working on!  Let me first say thank you to Stitching Grandma for suggesting this tutorial to help me with my appliqué.  Let me just say it worked!  Here are the results….

I was so happy that I defeated the appliqué monster that I decided to add the Birthday Girl’s name to her Pink Rainbow!  I put her name on the back in orange …which I also think I will be binding this quilt with!  Here are the pictures for you:

I am really in love with this quilt!  The good news is I see this little girl often so I can once again look at this pretty Pink Rainbow!

Until next time, Sew Pretty!

I am just a girl trying to be crafty. Well really a woman but my thoughts are girly. I am embarking on a journey. I hope to complete all of my goals, share and learn from others.

  1. Wow; it looks great! I’m glad the links I gave you were helpful. I learn everyday from all the fab tutorials that other bloggers post. 🙂

  2. Ok, this post definitely reminds me that I too need to tackle the applique monster. I spent over an hour tonight doing some applique by hand, and it’s such slow going!
