Hello my Quilty Peeps!
I started project quilting last year and decided to jump in with this very large pouch. I foundation pieced it on a two 12 1/2 by 12 1/2 inch squares. I thought I would really quilt it but in the end, I liked the puffy look from quilting it on to the batting. This is the first thing I have made from my pink scrap bin and I must say it was very freeing to just grab and go!
I named my little pouch, Sending Love Pouch. If you look on the picture to the right, inside the heart it says, Sending you love….how sweet! The pouch is 9 inches tall and 14 inches wide. It’s a good size pouch. It is quilted with warm and natural batting and is also lined in pink fabric.
I will be linking up here for Project Quilting, Season 5 Challenge 1.
Now, here is a peek at the quilt I am working on for my sister. I have finished the top and quilted it. I also was able to put on a label. I really like how this label turned out. Please tell me what you think.
I will show more pictures once I am finished. If you want to see more check out my Instagram (@theprettyladybaby) I told you all, a weeks ago about me ordering labels from Spoonflower. They are really working out great! I took my label and added a boarder and got this:
I really like how it turned out! Well until, next time….
