Today is my baby sister’s birthday! She is super sweet and for that reason I have been working on a special present just for her….all week! LOL! Your quilt is call the Plus Quilt and used various fabric with Amy Butler Dots. The size of the quilt is 60 inches by 70 inches. One of my larger quilts but not the largest. Pop Pop has the largest quilt, so far. The quilt is binded in a pink and purple strip. This quilt made me think of my sister as I was putting it together. It’s so fun and lively…just like her! So Nena, here is! Your very own quilt:
Above is the back of the quilt. I really think you will enjoy the back, Nena, one print says “BLAH, BLAH, BLAH” and the print with the flowers is called MOXIE. I pray you get just enough Moxie under this quilt! The last print is hop scotch…since I always remember you hopping around as a kid annoying me.
In the middle of me working on Janena’s quilt, I got my happy fingers on a Amy Butler Hapi Design Roll. I woke up early this morning, feeling restless, and decided to baste, quilt and bind this Hapi quilt top. I binded it in some yellow Tula Pink and backed it with some Anna Marie Horner viole. It was so easy quilting this …I really though working with the viole would be difficult but I really worked well…and it feels AMAZING!
